Simple timeline as we now know it.
Not only did the administration spend two weeks dishonestly blaming the affair on a cheap video, Joe Biden claimed ignorance in his debate with Paul Ryan and blamed the intelligence community for not giving sufficient info to the administration.
Then in a stunningly dishonest about face President Obama claimed in his debate with Mitt Romney that he referred to situation as terrorism from day 1. So why all the nonsense about the video?
So in essence, Obama knew it was terrorism immediately and repeatedly characterized the situation as something other than terrorism, repeating a patently false and often contradictory story then brazenly declared the opposite in a televised debate.
What matters is that this was clumsy, false, intentionally deceptive ruse with respect to an attack on a U.S. Embassy in which four Americans were killed.
This disqualifies him as commander in chief and might well meet the "high crimes and misdemeanors" grounds for impeachment. To testify falsely to the American public about the slaughter of an American Ambassador ought to qualify as a "high crime". But to do so in such a transparently inept fashion also shows incompetence.
